Pray for a Dad

Hi ladies, Sorry, I know I haven’t put a lot of information about my dad’s accident on Facebook, but he could use some prayers. They had to re-incubate him today. He is having a tough time with breathing and keeping his carbon dioxide levels normal and they had to put in a second tube to drain fluids around his lungs.

Pray for Two Young Women in Midwest

I received a call today from Malayna, a good friend of many of ours, and she asked for a prayer request for two young woman who attend her church in Platte City. Early this morning there was an accident on I-29 and Tiffany Springs Rd. that killed a young girl, only 22 years old, named Abby Cockrill. Abby and her friend Megan, who had been out with their boyfriends at Zona Rosa, were heading home and were rear ended by a drunk driver. Malayna explained that Abby was the church's new youth leader and Megan is her boss' daughter from the Chamber of Commerce. Please pray for Abby's family, she is the oldest of three girls in her family, and please pray for Megan and her family. Malayna says that Megan feels responsible for Abby since she was the one who was driving even though the police and everyone has told her that there was nothing that she could have done since the drunk driver hit them so hard and from the back. Please pray that Megan will believe that this was not her fault and please pray that Abby's family will find peace knowing that their daughter was a Christian.
