Continue to Pray for Christie

Please continue to pray for Christie Anliker who lives in Columbia, Missouri. Her operation of last Friday is believed to have gone well.

She will probably come home today. Her scar goes from her left ear across the top of her head to the other side. She is swollen around the left eye and the left side of her head around the ear. They used titanium clips inside the scalp to hold the skull together since the skull will not grow back together due to a lack of blood in it. The hole was actually in the dura which is the outermost membrane surrounding the brain. It had a 1.5 mm hole that they sealed with membrane from her skull and some glue. She says the headaches from the leaking spinal fluid is gone. She now has the pain associated with the cutting of the skull and the 100+ stitches.

Pray for Christie

Please pray for Christie Anliker she lives in Columbia, Missouri. She is having very serious surgery on Friday to correct a problem created by a recent operation to address her sinus condition.

Her spinal cord near the brain was inadvertently nicked during the sinus operation and the cord is now leaking fluid.

She is a 34 year old mother and her husband has a broken foot.

Let us lift up this young family to the care of the Lord.

Pray for Joy

Please pray for Joy, a Chinese young lady who is pregnant. Since Joy's boyfriend is Hispanic and she is pregnant, her Chinese family kicked her out of home and wants her to abort her baby. Joy has been seeking refuge in a Christian church and seeking Jesus. Pray for her and her family salvation and that her relatives change their mind and hearts, accept her, her boyfriend and the baby.

Please pray for the soul of Robert Zimmermann of Belleville, Illinois who was a classmate of mine in grade and high school. Bob died yesterday.
